Hi, I’m Meredith and I eat Voice & Tones for breakfast. It’s nice to meet you! Deeply collaborative, hella conceptual, and creatively pragmatic, over nearly fifteen years, I’ve led everything from in-house brand refreshes at global brands including Starbucks and Ticketmaster, to 15+ winning pitches at Cashmere Agency (resulting in millions of revenue) for big names in entertainment. 

I'm based in Topanga Canyon, California, by way of my hometown, Seattle, Washington. I grew up perennially rocking flare jeans wet all the way up to my knees, reading tarot cards, and perpetually waiting for the #43 bus.

Since then, I've worked my way up from being a busser at Piecora’s Pizza to obtaining my MFA in Creative Writing, Non-Fiction, then onto Creative Director roles. That recent gap in my resume? Took some time off to work on personal creative projects (ask me about my weird art book :).

ROLES & ROLL CALL

  • Led and mentored a team of Creatives in the entertainment branch of the culture-forward advertising and social agency. Simultaneously oversaw multiple accounts, from pitches to production, bringing in millions to the business. Fostered an environment of support, growth, and humor, ensuring cross-functional collaboration.

  • Co-led an in-house creative team of writers and designers across B2C, B2B, Social, and UX for the international ticketing platform. Drove conceptual and executional work across all channels to promote high-profile music tours, sports leagues, and theater productions.

  • Spearheaded omni-channel copy direction and rebranding efforts for the in-house brands Teavana and Evolution Fresh. Led conceptual and strategic ideation for big picture branding initiatives.

  • Worked on cross-channel marketing campaigns, CPG packaging, social, email, and branding proposals for brands including OPI, Manduka Yoga, Pepsi/Tazo, and AT&T.

  • Oversaw various editorial and organizational elements at the University of Washington’s literary journal while obtaining my MFA in Creative Writing.

  • Developed concepts and wrote humorous non-fiction books, specialty journals, gifts, stationery, and cross-platform marketing materials in the company’s signature snarky voice.

  • Wrote non-fiction essays and poetry; discovered the writers Maggie Nelson and Eduardo Galeano; drank too much coffee.

  • My honors thesis was on medieval women’s literature through the lens of French feminist psychoanalytical literary theory—and, yes, yes I know this is one of the most pretentious sounding things to have ever been written in the history of the English language. But I still stan Julia Kristeva and Helen Cixous, don’t @ me.
